Imperfectly Phenomenal Woman Podcast

You should be married by 30 they say. You should want kids they say. Shouldn’t you know your career path by now?

I don’t buy it. This podcast was started because trying to live up to these expectations is exhausting, unrealistic, and inauthentic. It was holding me back from being who I really am and I realized, I wasn’t alone.

Weekly CONVERSATIONS About Letting Go of Limiting Beliefs & Living Authentically

Each week, guests join the pod to reframe the limiting beliefs that hold us back from living fully and authentically. These limiting beliefs stem from society’s unrealistic expectations, our family, and even from ourselves.

This community believes that we get closer to fulfillment and our purpose when we honor the light within ourselves, cultivate it, and let it radiate freely. To do that, we have to shift our mindset and actions. We’re no longer trying to live up to who society says we “should” be. Instead, we focus on expressing who we truly are.

This platform is committed to 1) revealing the barriers that hold us back from living as the fullest expression of ourselves and 2) supporting your process of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and purposeful-action -- so you can design and build a life that is aligned with your honest inner vision of self.

Lauren

Hi, I’m Lauren, the Founder, Producer, and Host of the Imperfectly Phenomenal Woman podcast.

I never thought I’d be here doing this podcasting thing. I thought I wasn’t good enough and that no one would listen (yea…I have plenty of limiting beliefs too) but I was very, very wrong.

This podcast and community feel exactly right, like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. Amplifying the voices of women, especially Black women and women of color, for all to learn from, honor, and celebrate. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I believe that every woman is imperfectly phenomenal, and that accepting this duality is a gift that allows women to simultaneously embrace their flaws and their power.

I hope you'll join me on the journey.

“This podcast is a refreshing reminder that we all get to actively define our own lives though we may feel pressure to conform.”
